The Ordinary

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

Vitamin B3 is known to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion, whilst balancing your natural sebum levels for a shine-free complexion. It improves the skin's barrier function, preventing the skin from losing water and protecting it from pollutants and irritants, making it particularly gentle on skin. It improves skin texture and smoothness, whilst calming any breakouts and reducing excess oils.
Zinc is an anti-inflammatory, commonly used to treat burns and scars and fight against free radicals. It also encourages collagen production to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

So What exactly is Niacinamide?

I am seeing it everywhere and seriously, this is I think, my 3rd bottle from The Ordinary. My skin just loves it for some reason. How not to?
Niacinamide, which is also called nicotinamide, is one of two major forms of vitamin B3 (niacin) found in supplements (the other is nicotinic acid). It’s often touted to help manage acne, rosacea, pigmentation issues, and wrinkles.
Niacinamide’s anti-inflammatory properties make it an attractive treatment for skin conditions marked by inflammation, like acne.
Niacinamide is relatively nonirritating compared to other acne treatments, making it an especially attractive option for people with dry or sensitive skin.

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

I bought this, well because it is TO & it consists of HA (coz I just love anythg HA) which was what I was looking for as I often felt my skin to be ultra dry especially after a HOT shower.

However, I am not sure if I LOVE love this? I don't mind it as the consistency is light and not oily nor sticky. It works well with other products too and was absorbed by my skin almost right after I applied it.

On the other hand, I don't really feel ultra hydrating when using this product. I would choose a targeted night cream for my evening routine instead. Nevertheless, I will still continue to use this of course, for my day routine since it is light enough.

I am slightly disappointed with this product and will not repurchase. However, if you are looking for something for day use, this will probably be a good option.

Moisturiser

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can attract up to 1,000 times its weight in water. The molecular size of HA determines its depth of delivery in the skin. When applying this, make sure that your skin is wet in order for HA to be penetrated into your skin for maximum benefits. I love that this formula has an addition of Vitamin B5 which also enhances surface hydration.

I also love that this product can be used in both morning and evening routine. It mixes well with any product as well. I enjoyed using this product in my routine as it is ultra hydrating for my skin whenever needed. On my 3rd bottle now, it's just great!
